January - June 2016 Stories

"I just have to say it is nice to have a place to read about others struggling with Crohn's Disease.  My story is a lot like many others...I've had Crohn's for about 12 years, and of course it has been a real struggle.  I've tried many different medications and finally am at a place where it is relatively under control, although I do have some bad days here and there.  It's nice to know that I am not alone, and that there are others who share the frustration, pain, and stress that I do.  I think I'm in a good place now and hope that everything remains the way it is.  Thank you for your site. - Frank L, Hutchinson, KS

Thanks for your note, Frank.  We're glad these stories are helpful for you.  We know that it is always nice to know that there are other people that are going through what you are, regardless of whether it its a health condition or some other hardship.  There are plenty of stories on this site so take a look around...there are hundreds that we've received over the years.  All the best to you!  - Editor

"I'm in Colorado and I've been looking for a support group in my area.  Do you know how I can go about finding one?  It's for myself and for my daughter."  John R,  Colorado Springs

Hey John, thanks for contacting us.  You can find a support group on the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's website.  They have a map where you can enter your zip and they will show you all of the support groups in a certain radius from that zip code.  Take a look and see if there's anything near you.  Hope this helps.
