A tragic loss by: Annette
Hello,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Crohn's disease can be so cruel and so aggressive and it has a far -reaching affect, impacting not just the person who is diagnosed but family and friends too. From the clipping you posted, she seemed to have a love of life with many interests and I hope that she was able to make the most of the time that she had.
I know many of the people reading this will be sufferers of the condition too and it is a stark reminder of how prevalent the disease can be. I know how frustrating the disease is as with no cure, all it can do is to be managed at best. It's a reminder for all to live life to the full and to embrace each day.
I imagine that there are many questions left unanswered regarding her condition and how and why it was so severe. I genuinely hope that you are able to get some answers and some peace thereafter. My thoughts and I'm sure the thoughts of all those reading this post, go out to you and to your family at this very sad time.
We should always remember those who have succumbed far too early to this disease and if anyone reading this is facing a similar situation, please do not forget that there is support here for you.
