Mothernatures monthly extra pain

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

I am so sorry to hear that you are suffering so badly. I know Crohn's is a horrible disease and there will be certain times when the pain gets a whole lot worse. Unfortunately, there is not a lot that can be done but to keep the body as relaxed and as stress free as possible and to unfortunately have to learn to live with it.

I speak to many people who suffer greatly with their Crohn's and for them, it seems unbearable at times. Do make sure that you are not inadvertently doing something that can cause a flare-up. Eating or drinking the wrong foods can provoke a trigger. Stress for example can play a huge part in making the whole condition much worse, so relaxation techniques are ideal as they can help to rid the body of tension and to keep the mind feeling peaceful.

Researchers have not yet discovered why hormonal imbalances should cause Crohn's to be more aggressive, but some women have found that by taking two evening primrose supplements each day, this can help. Of course, the good old fashioned hot water bottle can really help to ease any cramps.

I have attached a link to a site with much more information but you may well find it useful

But also take a look at this site too

I hope this helps and wish you much luck in the future.

Best wishes,

Annette
