War on Crohn's Disease...

My daughter Cathy, 44, passed away 2/24/12 after 24 years of fighting Crohn's Disease. Her step-sister Michelle, 40, passed away 4 1/2 years ago due to an aggressive cancer after a lifetime of aplastic anemia, plus pseudomonas infection the last 4 years of her life. My wife Janice, 65 has had microscopic collagenous colitis for the past 9 months with continuous diarrhea, after years of over-the-counter Tylenol, etc for whiplash years ago plus countless antacids for heartburn...we are running a lay medical hospital ward in our family...Where do I turn next?

I have been studying Crohn's Disease for 24 years and believe the pathogen in Crohn's is MAP, mycobacterium avium paratuberculosis, from Johne's Disease-infected dairy cows...same as Dr. Burrill Crohn postulated years ago before his death...see www.crohns.org

The recent 10th International Colloquium on Paratuberculosis held in Sydney last month, has overwhelming evidence of MAP, paratuberculosis on this planet but cannot bring it to bear with solving the growing Crohn's epidemic globally...Where do sick and dying Crohn's victims turn? To each other? To a useless, dysfunctional Congress? My daughter's recent death and care for 24 years has burned me out, now my wife's colitis too?

I have written no less than 12 local newspaper columns on Crohn's Disease and am advancing a continuing series, "War on Crohn's"--anyone interested can e-mail me directly and I will send you by e-mail pdfs of these columns and what I know...I need to know more...the bulk of docs are useless barnacles and pharmaceutical whores of this planet ---Help!
